When it comes to organizing books, I am following the ideas outlined in:The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up

I try to get rid of anything that has duplicates. So for example, if Powell's can sell the books, I take store credit. If the local library already has a copy of a particular book, I get rid of my copy. What I am left with are the books that are unique and/or sentimental.

Back when I was running Lorem Ipsum Bookstore, we used a system called kazam to do inventory control. Now that I'm into organizing things in my own home, I'm considering using a similar system to help organize objects. Here's some of the systems that I'm looking at:

  1. QuickPeek

You can take a look at Quick Peek Self-Adhesive Stamps by downloading the app on the appstore and giving it a whirl

Sending a small batch of books to Powell's Books. They have a fantastic buyback system.
